This project was a large project with four team members participating throughout the whole semester (four months). Our task was making physical products and apps that could be useful and helpful to people during the pandemic. We researched and developed concepts focusing on solutions that people who want to connect with their loved ones when they are far away. Physical products were also made.
‘ANAJO’ means ‘hug me’ in Korean.
ANAJO is a hugging pillow with arms that is a great solution to connect with your friends and family. You can send the pressure of a hug to your loved ones when you’re far apart.

Based on the insights from research, I was able to develop threepersonas.
I created a user journey map and storyboard of Chris, one of the personas. I made a storyboard based on our user journal map. Chris feels lonely and isolated because he can not meet his family and friends during the pandemics, but after using the hugging pillow 'Anajo' and app, he is satisfied and no longer feels lonely.
